Florida H269 would nullify in practice some FDA restrictions on terminally ill patients. It passed through the House Health Innovation Subcommittee by a unanimous 12-0 vote. The bill must now pass successfully through the House Insurance & Banking Subcommittee. Take the following steps to support the bill.

1. Call the House Insurance & Banking Subcommittee Chair, John Wood. Strongly, but respectfully urge him to move HB269 forward to a vote in his committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.

2. Call the rest of the committee members. Again, be strong, but respectful. Urge each of them to take action to move the bill forward and vote YES on HB269.
