Massachusetts H.2144 and S1234 would help stop the federal militarization of local police. They must pass successfully through the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security before receiving a vote in the state House. Take the following action steps in support!

1. Call the Co-Chairs of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security, James Timilty and Harold Naughton. Strongly, but respectfully urge them to move these important bills forward to a vote in their committee. A phone call has 10x the impact of an email.

Timilty: 617 722-1222
Naughton: 617-722-2230

2. Call the rest of the committee members. Again, be strong, but respectful. Urge each of them to vote YES on H2144 and S1234.
