This is today’s Tenther newsletter, which everyone in the nullification movement gets daily or weekly. Be one of them
At the beginning of the American Revolution – in his appendix to Common Sense, Thomas Paine wrote about the “birthday of a new world.”
“We have it in our power to begin the world over again.”
While I realize that statement applies every single day of the year – I believe we can really seize on the moment right now to help push our movement for the Constitution and liberty into the mainstream. The other day, I sent an email about the fact that we’re tracking over 200 bills to advance liberty on a state and local level. Today, as I write this – it’s 270.
Whether the issue is unconstitutional surveillance, or gun control, common core, national healthcare, prohibitions on raw milk and industrial hemp – and all kinds of issues in between – we’re using the power of the 10th Amendment to reject these power grabs and help stand for the Constitution as the Founders intended.
But I’ve got to be really frank with you. Our opposition has a massive war chest – we do not. But we don’t need millions of dollars like they do.
Propaganda and supporting lies – is expensive. Teaching about the constitution and liberty is not.
We do, however, need SOME help, to the tune of about 100 new memberships so we can not just keep barely paying the bills (like we have been), but start pushing things to the next level.
I’m hoping you’ll consider a Tenth Amendment Center membership to help us right now. Even just 2 bucks is important to us.
Would you please join us today?
Here are the options:
I think Walter Williams put it best. In December, he wrote: “States… should nullify federal laws that violate the Constitution.”
That’s exactly what we’re working to do. And in the coming weeks, we’ll be releasing our annual “state of the nullification movement” report. Here we’ll detail – in a 40+ page document – exactly what’s been happening. I believe we’ve seen more nullification bills introduced – and PASSED – than at any time in history. But we’ve got a lot of work yet to do to push back on 100+ years of unconstitutional federal power.
I’m extremely grateful for your support. I hope you’ll consider pitching in to help us take things even further.
