Just called Rep. Farnsworth’s, Rep. Seel’s and Sen. Burges’ offices. Each of the assistants with whom I spoke remarked on Rep. Farnsworth’s strict adherence to the US Constitution as legislative and ideological principle, but none of them could explain his resistance to allowing a vote (that may be determined in the language of the bill, where something may not be appropriate in the eyes of Rep. Farnsworth).

Sen. Burges’ assistant did advise that the bill could be stricken which is what will happen if Rep. Farnsworth denies a vote.
