They’re coming out of the woodworks now that Obama is out of office. But these days, it doesn’t matter what the issue is, we get barraged on an almost-daily basis with emails, social media posts and other feedback – from republicans, conservatives and Trump supporters – showing us that they care little for the restraints of the Constitution.
Today, for example, we were asked about the President having the power to declare war. After some courteous back and forth, this was a response to an article discussing the unconstitutionality of Obama’s Libya airstrikes in 2011:
